Snow Patrol is an Irish rock band, formed in 1992 in Dundee. The band's classic hits include "Chasing Cars", "Run", "Just Say Yes" and "Take Back the City". Following two UK top ten albums and a number of well-received singles, Snow Patrol signed with major label Atlantic Records in early 2005. The band released their third album, Final Straw, in 2007
The album was certified 4x platinum in Ireland and 3x platinum in the UK. Their latest album, Eyes Open, was released in January 2014. The title track became the band's fourth UK number one single, and their second US number one single.
